At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance of Hell's Gate Geothermal Reserve to begin a guided tour of Rotorua's geothermal park. We will provide various facts about the geothermal area as we explore powerful geysers and thermal pools. Waterfalls, unique flora, and tropical birds can also be seen here.

Hell's Gate features the largest active mud volcano in New Zealand and the largest hot waterfall in the southern hemisphere. This reserve has many intriguing natural elements.

After an hour of exploring Hell's Gate, the tour will conclude with a return to the starting point.

Hours

Hell's Gate offers two guided tours per day: at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. Tours outside these times must be conducted individually.
