At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of Hell's Gate Geothermal Reserve and begin a guided tour of Rotorua's most important and active geothermal park!

We'll share information about this geothermal area while exploring the powerful geysers and thermal pools. Waterfalls, flora, and tropical birds await us at Hell's Gate!

Hell's Gate features the largest active mud volcano in New Zealand and the largest hot waterfall in the southern hemisphere, showcasing the fascinating nature of the reserve!

After an hour of touring Hell's Gate, we'll end the tour by returning to the starting point.

Hours

Hell's Gate only offers two guided tours per day: at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. If you cannot join these times, you'll need to take the tour independently.
