Tour Details

We will meet at Centraal Station in Rotterdam. From this landmark, we will begin our guided tour of the main monuments of this important port city.

The first stop will be the commercial area of Lijnbaan, the modern shopping area. Nearby, we will see the ‘pixillated’ Timmerhuise, which appears to sway, and the impressive ‘Markthal’ indoor market, resembling a spaceship.

During the tour, you’ll learn about the urban planning and architectural design secrets that have made Rotterdam a global reference. We will also visit the old port and walk along the banks of the River Meuse, enjoying views of the iconic Erasmus Bridge, the city’s unmistakable symbol.
