Aboriginal stories, the gold rush, and waves of stone! On this tour to Wave Rock and York from Perth, we'll discover two attractions of the Australian outback.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at your chosen meeting point to begin this tour to Wave Rock and York. We will drive towards Hyden, where we will find one of the most incredible geographical features of Australia. We will pass through the hills around Perth and head into the agricultural area of this region.

Before visiting Wave Rock, we'll stop in York, the oldest township in the Avon Valley. We will stroll through the streets while learning about its history, which is closely linked to the gold rush and cattle raising, along with its interesting buildings.

The tour will continue along the Wheatbelt Way. We'll pass through the farming villages of Corrigin and Kondinin, while also seeing the Dog Cemetery from the vehicle.

Next, we'll stop for lunch at a restaurant on your own before heading to Wave Rock. You'll be amazed by the sight of these curious stone waves, which are a sacred place for the aborigines. We will then stop at Mulka Cave to view cave paintings that tell an Aboriginal legend.

Finally, we will conclude the activity back at the meeting point after approximately 12.5 hours.
