Korouoma Frozen Waterfalls Day Trip

Day Trip Details

Picking you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi, the tour heads southeast to the Posio region. After a journey of approximately one and a half hours, you will reach Korouoma National Park, a canyon shaped by the Korojoki River, spanning twenty miles (30 km) through the Finnish landscape. You will embark on a hike through the snow-covered forests.

The hike will present you with views of the stunning frozen waterfalls of Korouoma. Following this excursion, you will gather around a campfire for a barbecue that includes reindeer sandwiches, mushroom soup, Lappish hard bread, and hot blueberry juice with marshmallows to warm you up.

After the experience, you will be returned to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Tour Pickup

Hotel pickup and drop-off are provided for those staying within a 9-mile (15-kilometre) radius of Rovaniemi city centre. For those outside this area, the meeting point is Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi. The activity's timing may vary by season and availability, and you will be contacted post-booking to confirm the exact pickup time.
