Trip Overview

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi as you travel southeast towards the Posio area.

After approximately 1.5 hours on the road, you will find yourself at Korouoma National Park. This stunning canyon was carved by the flow of the Korojoki River, spanning 30 kilometers (20 miles) through the picturesque Finnish landscape. From this point, you will embark on a walking adventure through the snowy woodlands.

While you explore the enchanting scenery within the national park, you will encounter the breathtaking frozen waterfalls of Korouoma, a sight that is bound to inspire awe.

After your invigorating exploration, take a moment to relax around a campfire where you can indulge in a tasty barbecue featuring reindeer sandwiches, mushroom soup, traditional Lappish hard bread, and warming hot blueberry juice complemented by marshmallows.

Upon concluding your outing, you will be returned to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Pickup and drop-off services are provided for guests staying within a radius of 15 kilometers (9 miles) from the center of Rovaniemi. If your accommodation lies beyond this range, we will arrange to meet you at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi.
