Korouoma Frozen Waterfalls Day Trip

The ice falls of Korouoma National Park present a unique scene where water appears frozen. This day trip from Rovaniemi features the ice cliffs and a campfire meal.

Day Trip Details

Participants will be picked up from their hotel in Rovaniemi and head southeast to the Posio region. After approximately an hour and a half journey, the group will arrive at Korouoma National Park, a canyon formed by the Korojoki River, stretching twenty miles (30 km). A hike through snow-capped forests will lead to the frozen waterfalls of Korouoma.

After the hike, a campfire will provide a place to rest, featuring a barbecue with pork sausages, a reindeer sandwich, salmon soup, marshmallows, and blueberry tea.

At the end of the excursion, participants will be dropped off back at their hotel in Rovaniemi.

Tour Pickup

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for guests within a 9-mile (15-kilometre) radius of Rovaniemi city centre. Those outside this area will meet at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi. The time of the activity may change based on the season and availability, and exact pickup times will be confirmed after booking.

Minimum Group

A minimum group of 2 people is required for this activity. On Sundays and public holidays in Spain, the minimum group size increases to 4 people.
