Korouoma Frozen Waterfalls Day Trip

The ice falls of Korouoma National Park present a unique natural spectacle. This day trip from Rovaniemi allows you to experience the beauty of ice cliffs and enjoy a campfire meal.

Day Trip Details

Picks up will occur from your hotel in Rovaniemi before heading southeast to the Posio region. After approximately one and a half hours, you will arrive at Korouoma National Park, notable for the canyon shaped by the Korojoki River, which spans twenty miles (30 km) through Finland. You will hike through snowy forests to witness the stunning frozen waterfalls of Korouoma.

After your hike, a campfire will be set up where you can enjoy a barbecue featuring reindeer sandwiches, mushroom soup, Lappish hard bread, and hot blueberry juice with marshmallows.

At the end of the trip, you will be returned to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Tour Pickup

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for stays within a 9-mile (15-kilometre) radius of Rovaniemi city center. If your accommodation is outside this area, the meeting point will be at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi. Please note that the pickup time may change based on the season and availability, and you will be contacted post-booking to confirm the exact time.
