Korouoma Frozen Waterfalls Day Trip

Day Trip Details

Pickup from your hotel in Rovaniemi will precede a journey southeast to the Posio region. After approximately an hour and a half, you will reach Korouoma National Park, a canyon shaped by the Korojoki River, extending twenty miles (30 km) through Finland. A hike through snow-covered forests will lead you to the stunning frozen waterfalls of Korouoma.

To conclude your adventure, gather around a campfire for a barbecue featuring reindeer sandwiches, mushroom soup, Lappish hard bread, and hot blueberry juice with marshmallows.

You will be returned to your hotel in Rovaniemi at the end of the trip.

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for those within a 9-mile (15-kilometre) radius of Rovaniemi city centre. If your hotel is outside this area, meet at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi.
