At the indicated time, we'll meet at Maakuntakatu 29 and start paddle surfing in the midnight sun—a special experience in Rovaniemi!

Upon arriving at your lakeside destination, you'll receive a lesson from a SUP instructor who will cover the basic techniques needed to maintain balance and navigate while standing on the paddle surf boards. After the lesson, you'll have the opportunity to get into the water with your paddle.

As you paddle over the waters of Lapland, you'll witness one of the most incredible sights north of the Polar Arctic Circle: the midnight sun, which creates an effect reminiscent of an eternal sunset throughout the summer.

Next, we'll walk to the peak of a nearby hill for a view of the golden horizon that offers a breathtaking panoramic view sure to stay with you.

We'll conclude the activity by returning to the meeting point in Rovaniemi.

The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon occurring within the Arctic Circle during the summer. In Rovaniemi, it can be observed from the beginning of June to early September, with the White Nights occurring in the last weeks of June at summer solstice.
