Midnight Sun SUP Tour

After picking you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi, we will commence the paddle surfing activity under the midnight sun. You will arrive at a lakeside location where a certified SUP instructor will provide a lesson on basic techniques for balancing and paddling on the surf boards. Once you are prepared, you will enter the water.

While paddling, you will witness the midnight sun, a phenomenon occurring north of the Polar Arctic Circle that offers an impression of an eternal sunset during summer months. After paddleboarding, you will hike to a nearby peak for a panoramic view of the stunning golden horizon, creating a memorable experience.

At the end of the activity, you will be transported back to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Midnight sun

The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon in the Arctic Circle during summer. In Rovaniemi, it is visible from early June to early September, with notable White Nights occurring in late June at the summer solstice.

Pickup

Pick-up is included from hotels within a 9-mile (15-kilometre) radius of Rovaniemi city centre. Upon booking, we will confirm your exact pick-up time. If you are staying in central Rovaniemi, you must go to the office at Maakuntakatu 29.
