Activity Details

At the agreed time, pick-up will be at your hotel in Rovaniemi. We will proceed to meet the husky dogs for the experience. The activity involves a 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) husky sleigh ride through Finland's landscapes. Sleigh operation can be by the tour guide or a group member, depending on conditions. Weather permitting, we will search for the aurora borealis during the ride, returning to the starting point afterward. After the ride, you will be returned to your hotel in Rovaniemi, approximately 2 hours later.

Itinerary Changes

The sleigh ride is contingent on weather conditions. If snow is sufficient and the lake is frozen, we will use the sleigh; if temperatures rise or safety is a concern, a wheeled carriage will be used instead.
