Can you imagine floating on ice? Enjoy the unique experience of lying on a frozen lake while you gaze up at the magical Northern Lights and twinkling stars in the night sky above Rovaniemi.

Northern Lights Ice Floating Experience

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi and take you into the winter wonderland of Lapland. After about a 10-mile (15 km) journey, you'll arrive at an area with many frozen lakes surrounded by snow-capped forests.

One of these lakes will be the location for your activity. You'll first put on a special insulated suit to protect against the cold. This suit allows you to slip into the water and enjoy the views of this winter paradise.

While floating in Arctic waters, experience the Aurora Borealis, which illuminates the night sky with different colors. Enjoy the spectacular view and its reflection on the ice-filled lake.

During the activity, you'll have the chance to enjoy warm blueberry juice and gingerbread, typical snacks of the Finnish north.

After the excursion, you'll be dropped back at your hotel in Rovaniemi.

This activity includes pickup from hotels located within a radius of 15 km (9.3 miles) from the centre of Rovaniemi. If your hotel is in the center, we'll meet you at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi 96200.
