Photography Tour Details

Experience the Aurora Borealis on a photography tour in Rovaniemi. Enjoy the illuminations against the night sky while capturing memories. Pickup will occur at your hotel in Rovaniemi between 8 and 10 pm, proceeding into snow-capped forests approximately 25 miles (40 km) from the city lights to an ideal viewing spot.

Explore various views in the countryside as a professional photographer shares tips to capture the Aurora. Photos taken during the evening will be sent to you afterward. Conclude the tour with a barbecue dinner featuring reindeer sausage, marshmallows, and blueberry tea around a campfire, complemented by local folklore stories.

Visibility of the Aurora Borealis is not guaranteed due to its natural occurrence. Basic photography tips will be provided during the tour. Remember to bring your camera.

Hotel Pickup

The tour starts between 8 pm and 10 pm, with the local provider confirming the exact pickup time. Hotel pickup is available from accommodations within a 9-mile (15-km) radius of Rovaniemi. If in central Rovaniemi, you must go to the office at Maakuntakatu 29.
