Private Finnish Sauna Experience

After being picked up from your hotel, you'll leave Rovaniemi for a unique relaxation spot. Upon reaching an authentic Lappish setting, you can admire the beautiful icy lake and surrounding forest. Before taking a dip in the freezing waters, you will enjoy a traditional private sauna experience.

A Finnish sauna is a wooden cabin heated by a wood-burning stove, with temperatures ranging from 176–230 °F (80–110 °C). Saunas are vital for physical and mental health in Finland, with an average of one sauna per household. To complete the sauna ritual, enjoy the heat before plunging into the icy lake or rolling in the snow.

For a finishing touch, enjoy delicious blueberry tea. After the experience, you will be taken back to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Important information

From September to May, you may see the Aurora Borealis while bathing in the frozen lake. In summer (May to October), the midnight sun is visible instead.
