Private Finnish Sauna Experience

After being picked up from your hotel, you'll head to a unique location to relax. Upon arrival at the authentic Lappish setting, appreciate the icy lake and forest surroundings. Experience a traditional private sauna before taking a dip in the freezing waters. A Finnish sauna is a wooden cabin heated by a wood-burning stove, with temperatures reaching 176–230 °F (80–110 °C). Saunas are essential for physical and mental health in Finland, with an average of one sauna per household. Complete the sauna ritual by enjoying the heat, followed by a plunge into the icy lake or rolling in the snow. To finish, enjoy blueberry tea before returning to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Important information

From September to May, you may see the Aurora Borealis while bathing in the frozen lake. In summer (May to October), you can experience the midnight sun instead.

This activity includes pickup from hotels located within a radius of 15 km (9.3 miles) from Rovaniemi center. If your hotel is in the center, you will meet at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi 96200.
