After being picked up from your hotel, you will depart Rovaniemi to a unique location aimed at relaxation.

Upon reaching the authentic Lappish setting, admire the beautiful icy lake and the surrounding forest, especially striking at night. Before immersing into the freezing waters, you will enjoy a traditional private sauna.

A traditional Finnish sauna is a wooden cabin heated by a wood-burning stove, with temperatures reaching 176–230 °F (80–110 °C). Sauna use is vital for physical and mental health in Finland, with approximately one sauna per household. Complete the sauna ritual by enjoying the heat, followed by a plunge into the icy lake or rolling in the snow!

To conclude, you will be served blueberry tea. Following this, you will return to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Important Info

From September to May, you may see the Aurora Borealis while bathing in the frozen lake. In summer (May to October), you will experience the midnight sun.
