Discover the highlights of Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland. Enjoy a sleigh ride, explore the Arktikum Museum, visit Santa Claus, and cross the Arctic Circle on this full-day tour!
Rovaniemi Full-Day City Tour
The tour begins with hotel pickup and takes you to the foothills of Ounasvaara Fell. You have the option to climb to the top. Next, enjoy a 500-metre sled ride pulled by huskies and a 400-metre reindeer sleigh ride. Warm up with coffee and biscuits afterward.
Next, visit Santa Claus Village for a buffet lunch and meet Father Christmas. You can deliver a letter to him personally, and take a photo crossing the Arctic Circle.
Afterward, head to the Arktikum Museum, which focuses on the ice age, the Aurora Borealis, Arctic animals, and Sami culture. The museum features a 564-foot-long glass corridor made with local materials.
Finally, you'll be returned to your hotel in Rovaniemi.
Partial Closures
The Arktikum Museum is closed on Mondays, except in December, with the itinerary remaining unchanged otherwise.
