Rovaniemi Full-Day City Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at 29 Maakuntakatu and head to the foothills of Ounasvaara Fell, the city's highest peak. For the adventurous, there is an opportunity to climb up to the top.
Your next activity includes a 500-meter ride on a sled pulled by huskies and a brief 400-meter reindeer sleigh ride. Enjoy a steaming cup of coffee and biscuits afterward.
Next, visit Santa Claus Village, where a buffet lunch is provided. Meet Father Christmas, his helpers, and reindeer. You can deliver a letter in person and take a photo across the Arctic Circle.
Afterward, visit the Arktikum Museum, focused on the ice age, the Aurora Borealis, Arctic animals, and indigenous Sami people, featuring a 564-foot-long (172 m) glass corridor.
Conclude your adventure by returning to the meeting point in Rovaniemi.
Partial Closures
Note that the Arktikum Museum is closed on Mondays, except in December. The itinerary will remain the same without the museum visit.
