Activity Details

After your pickup at the hotel in Rovaniemi, you will be equipped with thermal clothing, gloves, boots, and a helmet to keep you warm in the Finnish cold. A guide will provide basic instructions for driving the snowmobiles before we head out to explore the snowy forests encircling the capital of Lapland.

During the tour, you’ll journey for approximately an hour through the frozen Lapland glaciers, taking in the breathtaking landscape of Rovaniemi. If it's your first time, you'll find these snowmobiles easy to handle, experiencing a newfound sense of freedom as you glide across the snow!

At the conclusion of our snowmobile adventure, we will return you to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Activity Options

When booking, you can select between a daytime excursion or a nighttime snowmobile ride, allowing you to enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of the forests after dark. The choice is yours!

Children Under 12

Guides will manage the sleds for children under 12 years old, which are pulled by snowmobiles. Children not participating in the sled can ride as passengers on the snowmobiles if they are 140 cm (4 ft 5 in) or taller and can pay the adult rate.

Shared Snowmobile

Individuals booking for one will need to share a snowmobile with another participant during the tour. Please take note that rates are per person, not per vehicle.

Pickup Info

Pickup is available from hotels within 1 to 15 kilometers (0.6 to 9.3 miles) from the center of Rovaniemi. The timing of the activity is approximate. Depending on the season and availability, pickup can be arranged throughout the day. After your booking is made, we will contact you to confirm the specific time. If your accommodation is outside this range, we will provide a meeting point after your booking is confirmed.

Drivers must be over 18, possess a valid driver's license, and refrain from consuming alcohol or drugs.The local team may request health or pregnancy information to assess participant fitness.In the event of an accident, you are responsible for any material damage.The guide or provider reserves the right to exclude any participant deemed a risk to themselves or the group, and may cancel the activity without a refund.
