On this day trip from Rovaniemi, we'll visit a reindeer farm and a husky farm to learn about the traditions of Lapland, including a sleigh ride.
Tour Details
We will pick you up at your chosen meeting point and head to a location just 20 minutes from Rovaniemi. We will travel by minibus to a reindeer farm, where guests will enjoy a 500-m (0.3 mi) sleigh ride pulled by reindeer. Following the ride, participants will learn about reindeer herding while enjoying hot berry juice and cookies around a fire.
The adventure continues at a husky farm, where we will learn about the importance of husky dogs to the locals. Guests will have the opportunity to go on a husky dog sled ride as well, if they enjoyed the reindeer sleigh ride. Visitors will also have free time to explore the natural surroundings, take photos, or enjoy hot drinks at a nearby restaurant.
The experience concludes with a return to the starting point 4 hours after pickup.
