Have you always dreamt of zooming through the snowy forests of Lapland at top speed? Glide over Rovaniemi's icy plains and feel the adrenaline rush of driving a snowmobile through this winter wonderland.
Snowmobile Safari
After being picked up from your hotel in Rovaniemi, you will be equipped with thermals: overalls, a jacket, gloves, boots, a helmet, and other necessary gear for the Finnish cold. Your English-speaking guide will provide a lesson on driving the snowmobile, allowing you to navigate through Lapland's snow-covered landscapes.
You will drive for approximately an hour through the frozen countryside, taking in Rovaniemi's natural beauty as you traverse the snow. If this is your first experience driving a snowmobile, you will find them comfortable and easy to handle. Conclude your snowmobile adventure with a hot drink before returning to your hotel in Rovaniemi.
Pickup
Pickup is from hotels within a 15-kilometer radius of central Rovaniemi, with tours starting between 8 am and 4 pm, depending on the season. You will be contacted after your reservation to confirm the exact time. If staying in central Rovaniemi, proceed directly to the office at Maakuntakatu 29.
Reservations made after 11 pm the night before or on the same day may result in a delayed start.
Children under 12
Children under 12 will be transported on sleds pulled by snowmobiles. If they prefer not to go on the sled, they can ride as passengers if they are 150 cm (4 feet 11 inches) or taller and pay the adult rate.
