Snowshoes have been utilized by the Lappish population for centuries. This method of traversing through the snow has gained popularity as a recreational activity in Iceland.
Participants will be picked up from their hotel in Rovaniemi at the chosen time for a 20-minute drive to the snow trekking destination. After being equipped, the trek will commence among the pine and fir trees, guided through the serene snowy landscape while enjoying fresh air.
A break will be taken to start a bonfire, providing warmth along with a hot drink, and snacks such as sausages and biscuits.
The polar adventure concludes three hours later with a return to your hotel in Rovaniemi.
