Want to try some of the most fun and iconic activities in Lapland? Join this snowshoe hike and learn how to ice fish in Rovaniemi.

Snowshoeing & Ice Fishing

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi at the selected time and head to the forests of Lapland.

Once we arrive at our destination, we'll set off on a snowshoe hike. We'll walk among snowy pines and firs to discover beautiful white landscapes.

The trail will lead us to a frozen lake where we'll have a short lesson on main ice fishing techniques. We'll learn how to make a hole in the ice and cast the rod. All that's left is to wait for the fish to take the bait!

During the fishing activity, the guide will light a fire so we can enjoy a delicious barbecue snack with salmon and hot drinks.

Then, with our batteries recharged, we'll head back to Rovaniemi and drop you off at your hotel 4 hours after pickup.

Hotel Pickup

This activity includes pickup from hotels located within a radius of 15 km (9.3 miles) from the centre of Rovaniemi. If your hotel is located in the centre of Rovaniemi, we'll meet you at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi 96200.

Please note that the time of the activity is approximate and varies according to season and availability. Once you have made your booking, we'll contact you to confirm the exact time.
