Tour of Grožnjan & Oprtalj

At 8:30 am, we'll depart from Rovinj towards the Istrian hinterland. This Croatian peninsula, the largest in the Mediterranean, is filled with charming medieval villages.

We will drive through green hills, extensive olive groves, and vineyards. The first stop will be in the town of Grožnjan, known as "the little town of artists", featuring 28 workshops, an art gallery, a summer film school, a jazz festival, and more.

We will walk through the historic center of Grožnjan before heading to the valley of the Mirna River, where we will visit the village of Oprtalj to explore Venetian architecture in its monuments.

After visiting Oprtalj, we will go to a typical Croatian tavern for a tasting of Istrian products, which vary by season. This stop can also be used for lunch.

We will conclude the tour by returning to Rovinj, with arrival scheduled for 3:30 pm.
