Description
At 5 am, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Kigali and driven to Akagera National Park. During the three-hour drive, you'll have breakfast on board the jeep, including coffee and sweets.
The safari will start by visiting the most biodiverse areas of the savannah, home to elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, and impalas. We will also look for a large colony of leopards and lions, along with other mammals such as hyenas, jackals, and baboons, and may see several herds of hippos.
At the end of the three-hour safari, we'll head to the picnic area of the park for lunch, which includes Rwandan burritos, samosas, fresh fruit, and banana cake. After lunch, we'll drive to Lake Muhazi.
We'll take a tour along the shores of the lake to spot the main bird species such as the mousebird, the African white heron, and the grey-necked crowned crane. Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Kigali, arriving at 5 pm.
