Madidi Park and Yacuma Pampas 5 Day Trip

Day 1

After pick-up, we will head to the dock to board a boat with an open-top panoramic deck. We will sail to the Mashaquipe Ecolodge located in the jungle, drifting along the Beni and Tuichi rivers, enjoying views of Bala Canyon and observing local flora and fauna. Upon arrival at the eco-friendly lodge, we will rest and have a meal before continuing into Madidi Park to encounter wildlife, including spider monkeys and wild boars. We will return to our cabins for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After a Bolivian breakfast, we will embark on a four-hour trek through the Amazon jungle to the Arenalito refuge for a meal and rest. We will then climb to a viewpoint to see exotic birds and enjoy a sunset over Madidi Park. In the evening, we will explore jungle paths to look for nocturnal animals and camp in the Amazon rainforest.

Day 3

We will wake before dawn for a short hike to enjoy the sunrise, followed by breakfast. We will trek to the Tuichi River, where we will build a traditional raft to return to the Mashaquipe Ecolodge. The afternoon will be free for personal exploration.

Day 4

After breakfast, we will travel by 4x4 to Santa Rosa del Yacuma, admiring local landscapes along the way. We will board a boat to Las Tortugas Ecolodge for a meal. In the afternoon, we will sail down the Yacuma River, observing wildlife including lizards, caimans, and pink dolphins if weather permits. We will return to the ecolodge for dinner and rest.

Day 5

We will wake early to appreciate the tranquility of the jungle and the sunrise. After breakfast, we will take a jungle trek to discover local anacondas and other wildlife. In the afternoon, after a farewell meal, we will return to Rurrenabaque, concluding our 5-day adventure.
