Los Haitises National Park Boat Ride + Altos de Caño Hondo Natural Pools

Join us for a boat ride through the Los Haitises National Park and swim in the 14 natural pools with waterfalls of the Hotel Altos de Caño Hondo.

Tour Details

At the designated time, we will meet at the Hotel Altos de Caño Hondo lobby. We will take a 10-minute drive to the Caño Hondo pier.

At the pier, we will begin a 2-hour boat ride through Los Haitises National Park, sailing through mangroves and the San Lorenzo Bay, continuing along Cayo de Los Pájaros and old Pier La Perla.

We will visit La Arena Cave and La Línea Cave, which feature paintings and petroglyphs from indigenous civilizations. After exploring these caves, we will return to the boat and head back to the Caño Hondo pier.

Upon arrival, we will return to the Hotel Altos de Caño Hondo for a Criollan lunch including green salad, potato salad, minutas de pescado, chicharrón de pollo, pasta, white rice, string beans, moro de gandules con coco, and dessert. Beverages include mineral water, a soft drink, or coffee with milk.

After lunch, enjoy 4 hours of free time to experience the 14 natural pools with waterfalls before the tour concludes after a total of 8 hours.
