Day Trip Overview

At the scheduled hour, our journey commences at Caño Hondo Port, located at the entrance of the Los Haitises National Park. Prepare for a memorable day immersed in the verdant landscapes of the Samaná Peninsula.

The adventure begins as we shall board a boat and cruise along the Caño Hondo River, offering you a chance to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna. As we glide through the lively mangroves, expect to spot pelicans resting atop the mogotes. Ensure your camera is ready!

Upon arrival at San Lorenzo Bay, we will disembark the boat to explore the mysterious Arena and Linea Cave. While walking through these stunning caves, be attentive to the captivating pictograms and petroglyphs left by the indigenous peoples of the region.

Next, we will head to Cayo Levantado. This idyllic islet situated in Samaná Bay is renowned as one of the most breathtaking paradise locations on the globe. Visitors are often spellbound by its soft white sandy beaches and warm, clear waters that are rich in coral and tropical fish, making it an ideal spot for snorkelling!
