Join us for a day of exploration on the Los Haitises National Park & Cayo Levantado Excursion. Starting at 9 am at Caño Hondo Port, by the gates of Los Haitises National Park, this tour immerses you in the Samaná Peninsula's natural environment.
First, we'll board a boat to navigate the Caño Hondo River, observing local flora and fauna, including pelicans resting on the mogotes. Remember to bring your camera for this scenic experience.
Upon reaching San Lorenzo Bay, disembark to explore Arena and Linea Caves. As you walk through, look for pictograms and petroglyphs left by indigenous peoples.
Next, we will visit Cayo Levantado, an islet in Samaná Bay known for its beautiful white sandy beaches and warm, clear waters, ideal for snorkeling among coral and tropical fish.
The excursion concludes with our return to the starting point, arriving at approximately 4:30 pm.
