Guided Tour of Sagunto
We will convene at the Sagunto Train Station at the designated hour, ready to delve into the rich history of this Valencian city, whose roots trace back over two millennia!
Our journey will commence with a visit to the outer walls of the Sagunto Castle. This impressive fortress, strategically located on a hilltop, is encircled by fortifications from various periods, showcasing the tapestry of cultures that have shaped this coastal settlement. During our exploration, we will also stop at the Historical Museum of Sagunto.
As we wander through the charming, winding streets of Sagunto, we will arrive at its most renowned landmark: the Roman theater. Remarkably, this was the first national monument recognized in Spain! Experience the exceptional design of the stage, tiered seating, and remarkable acoustics of this ancient venue.
Our tour will also take us through the old Jewish quarter, where we will appreciate the Casa dels Berenguer museum, and view the exterior of the Historical Museum of Sagunto.
