Description
The ferry to the islands of Gozo and Comino departs from Sliema and Bugibba, located on Malta. The crossing takes approximately one hour on a modern ferry with a cafeteria service, featuring panoramic views of the Maltese archipelago. Once you disembark, you'll have the opportunity to explore the islands at your leisure. Ferries returning to Malta are available in the afternoon.
What To Do on Gozo & Comino
The ferry will take you to the port of Mgarr on Gozo Island, where you can enjoy beaches and archaeological sites. Comino, the smallest island, is known for its stunning landscapes, with the Blue Lagoon being its main attraction, ideal for swimming and hiking.
How it Works
You can get on and off the ferry multiple times during the same day. Depending on your departure time, you may have: 2 hours in Gozo followed by 2 hours in Comino; 2 hours in Comino followed by 2 hours in Gozo; 5 hours in Gozo; or 5 hours in Comino.

Sliema: 2 departures at 10 am, returning at 5:05 pm or 6:10 pm (10 May to 1 October) or at 5:40 pm (2 October to 9 May).Bugibba: departure at 10:40 am (1 October to 18 April) or 11:30 am (19 April to 1 October), returning at 7:30 pm (10 May to 1 October) or at 5 pm (2 October to 9 May).
Important Info
Starting May 1, 2025, to disembark at the Blue Lagoon, you must book a free entrance ticket on the Government's website for the afternoon. Without this reservation, access to the lagoon will not be permitted. If you wish to swim or remain on board, this ticket is not required.
