As well as the beauty of its nature, the island of Gozo is known for its monuments and cultural heritage. Be seduced by its exotic landscapes on this excursion from Valletta.

Gozo Day Trip

After pickup at the designated meeting point, we will proceed to Cirkewwa port for a ferry to Gozo. The ferry trip lasts over 20 minutes, offering views of Comino, another island in the Maltese archipelago.

The boat arrives at the scenic port of Mgarr, where we will board a bus to our first stop: Ggantija temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This archaeological site predates the Egyptian pyramids and offers insight into the history of the religious monuments.

Next, we visit Victoria, the capital of Gozo. Here, we will explore the citadel, learning about its history and fortifications. After our tour, lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, featuring a three-course menu with wine.

After lunch, we will continue south to Xlendi Cove, known for its vibrant atmosphere and stunning surroundings. Our final stops will be Fungus Rock and Dwejra Lagoon, a notable location from Game of Thrones.

From the lagoon, we return to Mgarr port for the ferry back to Cirkewwa, where a bus will take you back to your hotel.
