Half-day tour

The excursion begins with hotel pickup, followed by a visit to the oldest limestone quarry in Malta, where you will learn about the ancient art of local master stonemasons. Next, travel to the megalithic temples of Hagar Qim, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour covers the history of these religious monuments, after which participants will head to the coastal town of Wied iz-Zurrieq to board a boat to the Blue Grotto (boat trip not included). The return journey to your hotel is expected between 12:30 and 1:30 pm.

Full-day tour

The full-day tour option includes the same morning itinerary visiting the megalithic temples of Hagar Qim and the Blue Grotto. Following this, participants will enjoy a lunch consisting of a starter, main course, dessert, and wine. The next destination is the fishing village of Marsaxlokk, where there will be free time to explore the local market along the waterfront. The final stop is the Ghar Dalam prehistoric cave, crucial for understanding the island's Neolithic past. The return journey to your hotel is scheduled between 4:30 and 5:30 pm.
