Discover the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk and the famous Blue Grotto when you take this trip to the hidden corners of the beautiful island of Malta.

Marsaxlokk and Blue Grotto Trip

We'll collect you from your hotel before heading towards the southeastern tip of Malta.

Our first stop is the small fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Stroll along the waterfront and encounter traditional Luzzu fishing vessels in vibrant colors, with eyes on their bows, deriving from an ancient Phoenician belief meant to protect fishermen.

After exploring the port area, enjoy free time at the popular Marsaxlokk Market, traditionally held on Sundays, where fishermen sell their catch along with stalls offering artisan products, clothing, and souvenirs.

Later, we'll stop in Qrendi to see its parish church, narrow lanes, and band clubs.

In the afternoon, we move to 'Wied Iz-Zurrieq' harbor. Here, you can catch a boat (not included, 8EUR) to the stunning Blue Grotto, famous for its sea caves featured in films like 'Troy' with Brad Pitt.

After the Blue Grotto, we'll return to the Wied iz-Zurrieq docks and begin our journey back to your hotel.

Changes

If the Marsaxlokk Market is closed, we'll proceed to Rabat Market.
