When making a reservation for the Bridgetown Military Garrison Tour, choose between the following options:

Military Garrison + Museum (2.5 hours)

Meet in front of the Barbados Museum and Historical Society. This tour includes a historical overview of soldier life during the colonial period. Bridgetown served as headquarters for the West Indies Regiment. Historical insights include a significant event involving George Washington in 1751 while viewing the Military Garrison's cannon collection. A snack break is included. The tour culminates in the Barbados Museum, which houses over 500,000 military artifacts.

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 am

Military Garrison + George Washington's House (3.5 hours)

This option includes a guided tour of both the Military Garrison and George Washington's house. Additionally, visit the Garrison Savannah Racetrack, known for horseracing events involving military personnel in the 19th century. Explore the historical significance of the grounds, including details about the barracks, hospitals, forts, cannon collections, prison, and court-martial, as well as Washington's living quarters.
