At the time indicated, we'll start our guided tour of Speightstown at 1B Highway Street. From here, we'll begin our route around the city's picturesque streets, located on the northwest coast of Barbados.

During this walking tour, we'll learn about its link with England. It has remnants from British colonial times, showcasing 17th-century architecture. We will explore Queen Street, the main road lined with old buildings, shops, restaurants, and art galleries, as well as Arlington House Museum, which features exhibitions on Speightstown's history and culture.

We'll also visit Church Street, home to St. Peter's Church, built in 1837 in Gothic style. The cemetery contains tombs of notable figures like Admiral Lord Nelson and writer George Lamming.

In addition, we'll walk down Orange Street, offering views of the Caribbean Sea and Speightstown Pier, known for its palm trees and sculptures, including a mural depicting daily life.

Finally, we conclude after a 2-hour walking tour.

For a more complete experience, opt for a visit to Arlington House Museum, featuring displays on three floors of a restored 18th-century building from a sugar plantation, detailing early life and history.

This option includes the guided tour and access to the Arlington House Museum (first floor), showcasing changes from the 17th to 20th centuries with old photographs and videos.
