Description
At the time indicated, we'll start our guided tour of Speightstown at 1B Highway Street. We'll explore the picturesque streets on the northwest coast of Barbados.
This walking tour covers the city's link with England and its British colonial architecture. We will walk along Queen Street, the main road featuring old buildings, shops, restaurants, and art galleries, with traditional Barbados constructions. We'll also pass by Arlington House Museum, showcasing the town's history through interactive exhibitions.
We will visit Church Street, home to St. Peter's Church, established in 1837, noted for its Gothic style. The cemetery contains the tombs of prominent figures, including Admiral Lord Nelson.
Next, we will stroll down Orange Street, known for its views of the Caribbean Sea and Speightstown Pier, where we'll see a mural depicting daily life.
The tour lasts for 2 hours.

For a more complete experience, you can select the option to visit Arlington House Museum, located in a restored 18th-century building, which provides insights into life during the city's early years.
