Maison de la Lavande Visit

At your chosen time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Maison de la Lavande. The visit begins with a tourist train ride through the lavender fields surrounding the museum, providing a unique experience with the fragrance of lavender in the air.

Then, we will proceed inside the Maison de la Lavande to explore the different scents at the aroma table. We will discover the secrets behind three types of lavender: fine, aspic, and lavandin, and learn about their differences.

During the visit, we will attend a distillation of lavender essential oil using a traditional extraction process and continue with interesting facts related to the history of lavender.

Additionally, we will learn about the origins of lavender in Saint-Remèze, a picturesque village in the French Ardéchois region where the Maison de la Lavande is located.

After our 1-hour tour, you can enjoy a refreshment at the museum bar at your own pace. The lavender ice cream is highly recommended.
