Travel to the Victorian age as you explore one of Canada's historic cities. This guided tour around Saint John in a small group is perfect to discover the attractive monuments and sites in the only town on the Bay of Fundy.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 65 Water Street, on the shore of the Saint John River. After everyone has arrived, we'll start the guided visit around Saint John, Canada's first incorporated city.

We'll learn about the vibrant history of Saint John, located on the Bay of Fundy. Our first stop is the Three Sisters Lamp, a Victorian-style lighthouse used by sailors in the 19th century. Nearby, we'll visit Trinity Anglican Church and Saint John's Port for views of Partridge Island. Next, we will continue to Queen's Square, a green space full of trees and fountains.

The tour proceeds to King's Square, a circular square with Victorian-style buildings. We will spot the Imperial Theatre, known for its intricate facade, and the Loyalist Burial Ground, the resting place of the first inhabitants of the city.

We'll then visit the City Market, a meeting point for locals and tourists, where secrets about Saint John's cuisine and crafts await. To finalize this tour, we'll walk along the Harbour Passage Trail, which offers the best city views, and explore Fort La Tour before concluding our 2.5-hour walking tour.
