Sandboarding, Offroading, Turtle-Watching in Boa Vista's West Coast

If you love adventure, this tour of the western coast of Boa Vista is perfect for you. You'll practice sandboarding, drive through dunes, and spot turtles!

Tour Details

After picking you up from your hotel with our offroading vehicle, we'll begin this day trip adventure by heading to Boa Vista's western coast.

Upon arrival at Morro de Areia, we will start the day practicing sandboarding on the sandy mountains. Enjoy riding the desert dunes.

Following our sandboarding session, we'll proceed to Baia de Tartaruga to admire the turtles that inhabit this area. We will then continue to Shark Bay (known as Baia de Tubarao), where we may observe lemon sharks depending on the sea level.

After the nature adventure, we will visit the town of Povoação Velha for a guided tour through its streets, filled with the authentic Cape Verdean atmosphere. We will stop at a local bar for a tasting of Cape Verde's national rum Grogue and Pontche.

After 4 hours from our start time, we will return to your hotel.
