Cape Verde Diving

The Cape Verde archipelago is known for its spectacular marine environments. Dive into them with a day of scuba diving for beginners off Sal Island.

Description

After pickup from your hotel in Sal Island, we will proceed to the dive center for an hour-long introductory lesson in an open-air pool. You will be equipped with a wetsuit, fins, mouthpieces, tanks, and goggles.

Following the lesson, you will have two free hours to eat and rest before we return for afternoon pickup to head to the island pier.

At the coast, we will prepare the scuba gear and aim to observe marine species. The dive site is one of the Atlantic Ocean's prime dive spots, where we will dive for an hour at varying depths, with a maximum of 12 feet!

This introduction to diving will showcase the rich subaquatic ecosystem of Sal Island, including coral, turtles, manta rays, and various exotic fish species, providing an unforgettable experience.

After the dive, we will return to the pier and then back to your hotel. The total duration for this activity is approximately 3 hours for the morning option and 2.5 hours for the afternoon.

The activity includes pickup from most hotels in Santa Maria. We will contact you upon booking to confirm the time and pickup point. If you are not at a hotel with pickup service, we will meet you at the dive center located on the beach of Santa Maria.
