Cape Verde Diving

The Cape Verde archipelago is known for its spectacular marine environments. Dive into them with a day of scuba diving for beginners off Sal Island.

Description

After being picked up from your hotel in Sal Island, we will go to the dive center for an hour-long introductory lesson in an open-air pool. Once equipped with wetsuits, fins, mouthpieces, tanks, and goggles, you'll learn the basics of scuba diving.

Following the lesson, we will return to your hotel where you will have two free hours to eat and rest. In the afternoon, we will pick you up again to head to the island pier.

After donning the scuba gear, we will proceed to the coast. We aim to observe various marine species, as Cape Verde is a prime diving location. The diving will last for one hour at different depths, with a maximum of 12 feet.

During this introduction to diving, you will explore the subaquatic ecosystem of Sal Island, encountering coral, turtles, manta rays, and various fish species—an unforgettable experience.

After the dive, we will return to the pier and then to your hotel. The total duration of the activity is approximately 3 hours for the morning option or 2.5 hours for the afternoon.

Hotel Pickup

This activity includes pickup from most hotels in Santa Maria. Upon booking, we will contact you with the pickup time and location. If your hotel does not offer pickup, we will meet you at the dive center on Santa Maria beach.
