Cape Verde Diving

The Cape Verde archipelago is known for its spectacular marine environments. Dive into them with a day of scuba diving for beginners off Sal Island.

Description

After hotel pickup in Sal Island, we proceed to the dive center and an open-air pool. Participants will wear wetsuits and have access to fins, mouthpieces, tanks, and goggles, starting with an hour-long introductory lesson on scuba diving basics.

Following the lesson, there will be two free hours to eat and rest at your hotel before the afternoon pickup. We will then head to the island pier.

After gearing up correctly, we will proceed to the coast to explore marine species along the way. Cape Verde is recognized as a prime dive location in the Atlantic Ocean, and at the beach, participants will dive for an hour at varying depths based on group capabilities, up to a maximum of 12 feet.

This introduction to diving will showcase the rich subaquatic ecosystem of Sal Island, including coral, turtles, manta rays, and various exotic fish species. This close encounter with marine life promises to be a memorable experience.

After the dive, we will return to the pier and then back to your hotel. The total duration of the activity is approximately 3 hours for the morning option and 2.5 hours in the afternoon.
