Sal Island Buggy Tour

On this buggy tour on the island of Sal, participants will explore the main tourist attractions in Cape Verde while enjoying an adventurous experience. It is particularly suitable for those in Santa Maria.

When booking, you can choose between 3 different options. All include hotel pickup, drop-off, an English-speaking escort, and a double buggy hire.

Details for each tour:

2-hour day tour

After pickup, participants will collect buggies and start exploring Sal. The tour first visits the top of Serra Negra for scenic views, followed by Oasis in central Sal and ending at Ponta Preta Beach.

Schedule: available at 2 pm and 4:30 pm.

4-hour day tour

This option includes a longer buggy experience, beginning in Murdeira before heading to Palmeria for 30 minutes of exploration. The tour continues to Regona, a natural swimming pool, then to Terra Boa to experience the Morgana effect. It concludes at Pedra de Lume for a view of the salt marshes and Shark Bay to see lemon sharks.

4-hour night tour

This tour allows participants to explore Sal at night, starting at sunset towards Oasis. Depending on the season, it may include a stop at Ocean Café Pub for refreshments from November to June or a visit to Serra Negra Beach to witness loggerhead sea turtles hatching from July to October.

Children Aged 5-18

Children aged 5-18 can participate as passengers, accompanied by a parent or guardian. To drive, a valid driver's license is required, and each buggy can carry up to two people.
