Description

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Santa Maria, with times set between 2:10 pm and 2:40 pm, as we head towards Shark Bay, renowned for its lemon shark population.

Curious about the origins of their name? The term 'lemon shark' comes from how the sunlight interacts with the water, giving these sharks a yellowish tint reminiscent of a lemon's skin.

Typically, these sharks grow to lengths of around 8 to 9 feet (approximately 2.5 to 3 meters) and are regarded as completely safe for human interaction. During the activity, you'll have the chance to dip your feet in the shallow waters where juvenile lemon sharks often gather. Although the larger sharks will be further out, close observation will still be possible. We’ll also take time to share fascinating insights about this unique species.

For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, feel free to observe the sharks from the beach while enjoying the warmth of the sun on the beautiful sands of Shark Bay.

After exploring the waters with the lemon sharks, we will make our way back to Santa Maria, with an anticipated return time at your hotel around 4:30 pm.
