Tour Details

At the designated time, pickup will be provided at your hotel in an off-roading vehicle to begin the tour of Sal Island.

First, we'll pass the beach of Kite, renowned for kitesurfing, before reaching the fishing town of Porto Palmeira, known for fish sales.

Next, we will drive to the historic town of Pedra de Lume, the first settlement on Sal Island. Here, you will see old houses of salt workers, well-preserved for over 50 years.

Afterward, we will stop to swim in the salt craters of Pedra de Lume, the only salt lake in a volcanic caldera worldwide, featuring warm waters reminiscent of a natural spa. An explanation of its benefits will be provided.

Then we will head to Buracona Lagoon and proceed to Shark Bay, an ideal location to see lemon sharks in their natural habitat. Before returning, we will stop at Murdeira Bay and Espargos, the island's administrative capital.

Finally, we will return to the starting point after a total of 7.5 hours.
