Make the most of your time in Oman exploring its natural and cultural gems on this Private Tour of East Salalah. Beautiful waterfalls, lush green valleys, and historic towns await!

Private Tour of East Salalah

After picking you up from your hotel in Salalah at 8 am, we will head east to explore the area surrounding the city. The first stop will be at the Athum Waterfalls, known for its stunning beauty. We'll embark on a short trekking route to reach the waterfalls, enjoying the lush jungle landscapes of East Salalah, featuring tall trees and rose gardens.

Next, we’ll drive to the town of Taqah to visit its pristine beaches and possibly spot dolphins. We will also tour the historic centre of Taqah and its 19th century castle, exploring watchtowers, the guard room, and exhibitions showcasing the traditional Omani way of life.

Our next stop is the archaeological site of Samhram, with ruins dating back to the 1st century BC and recognized by UNESCO. During this segment, you'll learn about the city's significance in the incense trade route.

Following this visit, we’ll have an hour for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Darbat Valley, one of Oman's notable natural parks. The private tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel at 5 pm.
