Private Tour of East Salalah

After picking you up from your hotel in Salalah at 8 am, we'll head east to explore the area surrounding the city. The first stop will be at the Athum Waterfalls, one of the most notable waterfalls in Oman. A short trekking route will lead us to the waterfalls, where we can appreciate the lush jungle landscapes of East Salalah.

Next, we will drive to the town of Taqah to visit its pristine beaches, with a chance to spot dolphins off the coast. We will then tour the historic centre of Taqah and its 19th-century castle, where we will see watchtowers, the guard room, the prison, and various exhibitions showcasing the traditional Omani way of life.

Our next destination is the archaeological site of Samhram, a UNESCO-protected site dating back to the 1st century BC. We will discuss the ancient city's role in the incense trade.

After this visit, you will have an hour for lunch at a local restaurant. We will then continue the tour to Darbat Valley, known for its natural beauty. We will conclude the private tour and drop you off at your hotel at 5 pm.
