Private Tour of West Salalah

At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Salalah and head west to the town of Dhalkout. The drive in the jeep will take approximately two and a half hours.

Once we arrive in Dhalkout, we will explore it by jeep to admire the surrounding green mountain scenery and visit its beautiful beaches for a unique view of the Arabian Sea.

After this first tour, you'll have an hour and a half of free time for lunch. We'll then return to the vehicle and head to the village of Deem, located near the border between Oman and Yemen. The village's viewpoint is ideal for admiring the Yemeni hills.

We will continue our private tour to a valley full of frankincense trees, learning about the area's history, including Oman's historical trade of frankincense with China and European countries.

Finally, we'll reach the city of Rakhyout, visiting its beaches, fortress, and one of the oldest mosques in the sultanate.

We will conclude the private tour by dropping you back at your hotel.
