Private Tour of West Salalah

At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Salalah and head west to the town of Dhalkout. The drive in the jeep will take approximately two and a half hours.

Once we arrive in Dhalkout, located on the edge of Dhofar Governorate, we'll explore it by jeep to admire the surrounding mountain scenery. We will also visit its beautiful beaches, which offer a view of the Arabian Sea.

After this tour, you'll have an hour and a half of free time for lunch. We'll then return to the vehicle and head to the village of Deem, located near the border between Oman and Yemen. The village's viewpoint allows for views of the Yemeni hills.

We'll continue to a valley filled with frankincense trees to learn about the area's history, including Oman's historical trade of frankincense to China and European countries.

Finally, we'll arrive in the city of Rakhyout to visit its beaches and see its fortress and mosque, among the oldest in the sultanate.

We will conclude the private tour by dropping you back at your hotel.
