La Caravedo Hacienda Visit

On this guided tour of the hacienda of La Caravedo, you will explore the distillery and enjoy a poolside experience, including a lunch.

Visit Details

The tour begins at 10 am at the main entrance of the hacienda, located on the outskirts of Ica. Guests will be welcomed with a canned chilcano drink for adults and juice for children, followed by a guided tour of the distillery.

The tour covers the original installations from 1684, including the wine press and equipment used for pisco production. Participants will then move to the modern sections of the distillery to observe the current production methods.

The itinerary includes a visit to the stables of La Caravedo, where various animals such as Peruvian jumping horses, ponies, alpacas, guinea pigs, peacocks, and guinea fowl can be seen.

After the stables, guests can refresh themselves in the swimming pool of hacienda La Caravedo; a swimsuit is recommended. Following the swim, there will be a tasting of three international gold medal-winning piscos.

This tasting will be followed by a three-course lunch that includes water or a soft drink. Guests may remain at the hacienda until 6 pm.

For those wishing to focus solely on the distillery, there is an option to tour the La Caravedo distillery, which includes a pisco tasting.
