La Caravedo Hacienda Visit

On this guided tour of the hacienda of La Caravedo, you will explore its distillery and enjoy lunch by the pool.

Visit Details

The tour begins at 10 am at the main entrance of the hacienda, located on the outskirts of Ica. You will receive a welcome drink, consisting of a canned chilcano for adults and juice for children. Following this, a guided tour of the distillery will be conducted.

Your first stop will be the original facilities from 1684, featuring the wine press, the press, and the falcas for pisco production. You will then proceed to modern areas of the distillery to observe the making of this popular Peruvian spirit using advanced technology.

The tour continues in the stables of La Caravedo, where you will see a variety of animals including Peruvian jumping horses, ponies, alpacas, guinea pigs, peacocks, and guinea fowl.

After visiting the stables, you can enjoy the swimming pool at hacienda La Caravedo (be sure to bring your swimwear). A tasting of three international gold medal-winning piscos will follow. Lunch will consist of a three-course menu, with water or a soft drink included. You are welcome to stay at the hacienda until 6 pm.
