During this workshop dedicated to pisco at the historic La Caravedo estate, participants will explore the creation process of this traditional Peruvian beverage while crafting cocktails within the confines of the most ancient operational distillery in the Americas.
Pisco Workshop Details
At the appointed time, we will gather at La Caravedo hacienda to immerse ourselves in the intriguing realm of pisco.
This estate proudly houses the oldest operational distillery in the Americas, established in 1684, and has been continually engaged in the art of pisco production, honoring Peru's iconic spirit.
A guided tour of the facilities will showcase the intricate artisanal methods employed in creating high-quality pisco, shedding light on the standards that elevate it to one of the finest examples in the region.
Additionally, we will explore the state-of-the-art plant where nearly one million liters of pisco are manufactured annually in a more industrial manner. Quite remarkable, isn't it?
At the conclusion of our tour, participants will sample four distinct piscos crafted on-site and will receive guidance from a seasoned bartender on how to prepare 2 cocktails, namely pisco sour and chilcano.
This enriching experience will wrap up approximately 2.5 to 3 hours after it commences.
