Travel to the Golden Era of Piracy with your ticket to Real Pirates Salem. Learn about this period and see authentic pirate treasures salvaged from the Whydah Gally shipwreck.

Description

The Real Pirates Salem Museum allows you to explore 18th century pirating history through various exhibitions and interactive areas. The museum features artifacts and riches from the Whydah Gally, which sank in 1717 near Cape Cod. These treasures were hidden until discovered in the late 20th century, allowing visitors to see genuine items from the Golden Age of Piracy.

During your visit, you can explore the museum's multiple rooms to uncover the ship's history and its tragic wreck. Exhibits include recreations of the ship's interior, displays of torture instruments, cannons, and more. Additionally, you can engage with interactive areas, learning about various nautical knots, pirate vocabulary, and even handling antique coins from the Whydah Gally.
