At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Salento and drive for 30 minutes to the Santa Rita Natural Reserve by minibus. The reserve is known for its varied bird life.

Once we arrive, we'll enjoy a delicious breakfast of eggs, arepas, and chocolate or coffee. Afterwards, we'll provide a brief introduction about the rich biodiversity of the Santa Rita Reserve.

We'll hike about 1.5 miles (2-3 km). During the walk, we may see colorful birds such as the cock-of-the-rock or the multicolored tanager. We'll assist you in identifying the different species that we observe and share information about their lifestyles.

Additionally, we'll visit the stunning waterfall of the Santa Rita Reserve and discuss the important relationship between birds and water.

After 4 hours of hiking, you'll have 2.5 hours of free time to continue exploring the reserve, take pictures by the waterfall, use binoculars to locate more birds, or relax in the fresh air.

We'll conclude the activity by dropping you back at your hotel after approximately 8 hours.
