The adventure begins at the central park of Salento, where we will gather at the appointed time. Gear up for exploration!

During our offroad expedition, we'll navigate the National Trail, recognized as one of the earliest pathways in South America. This route showcases breathtaking scenery and allows for a deeper understanding of a historically rich area.

We will make a stop at the Nevados viewpoint, where you can indulge in a delicious Colombian coffee while appreciating the stunning sights, including the Cascada de la Ceja. Following this, a traditional breakfast will be served amid the majestic wax palms. Remarkably, these palms are unique to the Colombian Andes and can soar to impressive heights of up to 70 meters (229 feet).

With renewed enthusiasm, we'll head towards Toche. Here, you'll enjoy a local lunch while soaking up the charming surroundings of this small town, characterized by its colorful houses nestled within one of the world’s most breathtaking mountain ranges, the Andes. Our journey will also take us past one of Colombia's most intriguing cemeteries, located in a forest along the National Trail. This unique site adds a fascinating element to our exploration!

With our spirits lifted, we will finally approach the Machín volcano. Here, you will have around three hours to freely explore the captivating area around one of the most impressive volcanoes in Colombia's coffee region. Don't forget your camera, as the spectacular stalagmites found on the cave floors are a must-see!

In conclusion, we will return to our starting point in Salento, wrapping up the journey by 7:30 pm.
