Day 1: Salento - Cocora Valley

Pickup from your hotel in Salento at 5 am in a 4x4 vehicle to Cocora Valley. Trekking route of 18 kilometers (11 miles) through rocky stretches filled with Quindio wax palms, moorlands, and cloud forests. Rest at an altitude of 1800 metres (5905 feet) at finca La Primavera, where we'll spend the night.

Day 2: Cocora Valley - Arenales

After breakfast, embark on an 8-kilometre (5 miles) route with a climb of up to 790 metres (2592 feet). The weather will be more humid as we ascend, passing through moorlands and sandy areas home to various birds. We will reach 4400 meters (14435 feet) and rest at Arenales campsite.

Day 3: Arenales - Cañon Hot Springs

After breakfast, we will head to the summit of the Tolima volcano, over 5200 metres (17060 feet). Enjoy views of other volcanoes and the stunning landscapes of Los Nevados National Park. Afterward, we will descend to the thermal springs of Cañón for a relaxing dip and stay at the campsite.

Day 4: Cañón hot springs - Ibagué

The final day includes 18 kilometres (11 miles) of hiking. We'll pass the Vancouver and Bombona lakes and the Amberes valley to Palomar. Upon reaching Ibagué around 5:30 pm, we'll board an all-terrain vehicle for the transfer.
