Discover one of the world's most fascinating archaeological sites on this excursion to Pompeii from Salerno. An unforgettable journey through ancient history!

Pompeii Excursion

At the appointed time, we'll meet at Salerno Central Station. There, we'll board a train for a scenic trip to the legendary ruins of Pompeii, enjoying views of the Amalfi Coast along the way. Once we arrive, a knowledgeable guide will meet us and provide priority access tickets to the archaeological park.

The guided tour will last two hours, focusing on the ancient colony buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. We will walk through ancient Roman streets and visit domus, theaters, lupanare, baths, and stores, culminating at the iconic forum, where we will see casts of some victims from the eruption.

Throughout the tour, we will learn about the lifestyle, customs, and habits of the ancient Romans, as well as anecdotes about the city before it was buried by lava. After the tour, the guide will provide directions back to the station and offer tips for those who wish to continue the visit on their own.
