We'll meet at the scheduled time in Piazza Matteo Luciani and start the private tour of the historic centre. In this square, we will admire the Giuseppe Verdi Municipal Theater from the 19th century and the Villa Comunale medieval gardens.

Next, we'll visit the Minerva Gardens, an important attraction and the oldest botanical garden in Europe, traditionally used by students of the Salerno Medical School for medicinal plants since the Middle Ages.

We will then explore the historic centre of Salerno, winding through narrow medieval alleys like Via dei Mercanti. Notable buildings include the Monumental Complex of San Pietro Corte and Salerno Cathedral, also known as the Duomo, which houses the remains of the apostle Saint Matthew.

Our tour will continue to the Devil's Bridge, a medieval aqueduct associated with a local legend.

We will conclude with a walk along the promenade, known for its beauty. After a fascinating 2-hour tour, we will say our goodbyes while enjoying a spectacular view of the gulf and the Amalfi Coast.
