Meeting at the scheduled time at the Piazza Matteo Luciani, we will start our private tour of the historic centre. In this square, we will see the Giuseppe Verdi Municipal Theater, a 19th-century building, and the medieval gardens of the Villa Comunale.

Next, we will visit the Minerva Gardens, one of the main attractions and the oldest botanical garden in Europe. Students from the Salerno Medical School have utilized its medicinal plants since the Middle Ages.

We will then explore the historic centre of Salerno, winding through narrow medieval alleys like Via dei Mercanti. Notable buildings we will observe include the Monumental Complex of San Pietro Corte and the Salerno Cathedral (Duomo), an 11th-century architectural treasure that houses the remains of Saint Matthew.

Our tour will continue to the Devil's Bridge, a medieval aqueduct linked to a well-known local legend.

To conclude our tour, we will walk along the promenade, one of the most beautiful in Italy. After a captivating 2-hour tour, we will say our goodbyes while taking in a spectacular view of the gulf and the Amalfi Coast.
