Trekking in Salerno

At 9 am, we will meet outside the Salerno Cathedral to begin our hike.

Our journey takes us through narrow streets as we leave the city to follow the trail of Prince Arechis II, also known as the Duke of Benevento. The path leads us to the top of Mount Bonadies, culminating at Arechi Castle, which dates back to the 8th century and served as the prince's fortress due to its strategic location.

Upon reaching the summit, participants can enjoy views of Salerno to the left and the Amalfi coast to the right. The effort of the climb will be rewarded with stunning scenery.

After taking in the views and capturing photographs, we will descend back to Salerno Cathedral, concluding our hike at 1 pm.
