Trekking in Salerno

At 9 am, we will meet outside Salerno Cathedral to begin our hike.

We will walk through the narrow streets, leave the city, and embark on the trail of Prince Arechis II, also known as the Duke of Benevento. Our route will take us to the top of Mount Bonadies, culminating at Arechi Castle, which dates back to the 8th century and served as the prince's fortress due to its strategic location.

Upon reaching the summit, participants will enjoy views of Salerno to the left and the Amalfi coastline to the right. The climb will be rewarding.

After appreciating the views and taking photos, we will descend back to Salerno Cathedral, concluding our hike at 1 pm.
