Trekking in Salerno

We will meet at 9 am outside Salerno Cathedral to begin our hike.

Our route will take us through narrow streets as we leave the city and embark on the trail of Prince Arechis II, known as the Duke of Benevento. We will ascend to Mount Bonadies to reach Arechi Castle, a fortress from the 8th century recognized for its strategic location.

At the summit, you will enjoy views of Salerno to the left and the Amalfi coast to the right, affirming the reason for the castle's location. The climb will be rewarding.

After taking in the scenery and capturing photos, we will descend until we return to Salerno Cathedral, concluding our hike at 1 pm.
