Travel along the Amalfi coast and discover its picturesque villages with this trip to Vietri sul Mare and Cetara. You will visit the historical centers of these towns and enjoy views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Vietri sul Mare and Cetara Trip

At 8:00 am, we will meet in the center of Salerno and begin our trip. We will drive to Vietri sul Mare, located 15 minutes away.

Upon arrival, we will explore the historical center of Vietri sul Mare, with charming alleys and traditional pottery shops, along with views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. This area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You will have two hours of free time to further explore the town, including the cathedral of San Giovanni, known for its Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque styles due to various renovations.

Next, we will head to the village of Cetara, arriving 20 minutes later. Here, we will learn about the production of the town's traditional delicacy: anchovy sauce. After tasting this, you will have an hour and a half of free time to eat and explore the town.

The excursion will conclude with our return to Salerno, arriving at 4:00 pm.
