On this excursion from Salou, we'll discover two notable places in Catalonia: Barcelona and Montserrat. We'll spend a day in Barcelona and admire its mountains.

Barcelona & Montserrat Excursion

Between 8 and 9 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Salou and travel to the Catalan capital of Barcelona.

Before reaching the city, we'll visit the Montserrat mountains. We'll admire the landscape of this massif on our way to the monastery, an important site.

Upon arrival at the Montserrat Abbey, we'll enter the church and see the image of the Virgin of Montserrat, patron saint of Catalonia. During the visit, we'll explore this place of worship and discuss its history and mysticism. Afterward, you'll have free time to visit the viewpoints.

Next, we will travel to Barcelona to visit one of its main attractions, the Sagrada Familia, a cornerstone of architecture and an impressive example of Gaudí's modernist work, under construction for over 140 years. We will enter the interior to view its detailed façades and columns.

The excursion includes a panoramic tour of Barcelona, where we'll pass by iconic sites such as Las Ramblas, the Boqueria Market, Plaza de España, and the Montjuïc Fountains.

We'll conclude the excursion by heading back to your hotel in Salou at 6 pm.
