Cabra Corral Reservoir Trip
The departure from the center of Salta is at 9:30 am via the RN68 road, traveling south through the Lerma Valley. During the route, we will pass through the villages of Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, and Coronel Moldes. We will then divert from the RN68 to reach the Cabra Corral reservoir.
Once at the reservoir, you will have approximately one hour of free time to relax and take in the views. This reservoir is the second largest in Argentina, created by the confluence of the Pasaje, Juramento, and Salado rivers, which produces significant hydroelectric energy for the northwest provinces. The dam was constructed between 1966 and 1972 and has a height of 305 feet.
After enjoying the landscapes, we will return to the center of Salta, arriving at around 2 pm.

The tour includes pick up from hotels in the center of Salta. For guests staying in more remote areas, pick up will be at the following meeting point: 45 Buenos Aires street.
