Cabra Corral Reservoir Trip

We will leave the center of Salta at 9:30 am, taking the RN68 road south through the Lerma Valley. During the journey, we will pass through villages such as Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, and Coronel Moldes. After RN68, we will take another road directly to the Cabra Corral reservoir.

You will have about one hour of free time to relax and enjoy the views of the reservoir, which is the second largest in the country. The Pasaje, Juramento, and Salado rivers provide hydroelectric energy to much of northwest Argentina. This engineering project was built between 1966 and 1972 and reaches a height of 305 feet.

After enjoying the landscapes of Cabra Corral, we will return to the center of Salta, arriving at 2 pm.
