Culture, nature, history, and heritage. Discover all the main attractions of Cachi on this guided tour of one of the most captivating cities in northern Argentina.
Description
Between 6:30 and 7:10 am, our adventure begins with pickup in Salta, heading towards the Calchaquí Valleys. Our journey will start in the Lerma Valley and the Quebrada de Escoipe, offering views of the Yungas forest. We will then traverse the Cuesta del Obispo, reaching the highest point at 3457 meters above sea level at Piedra del Molino. After descending to the Tin Tin Straight in Los Cardones National Park, we will arrive at the town of Cachi.
In Cachi, we will explore its picturesque streets and colonial heritage. You will visit the Pío Pablo Díaz Archaeological Museum, showcasing artifacts over 10,000 years old, and admire the historic San Jose Church, a temple from the Spanish colonial era.
