On this excursion to El Rey National Park, we will depart from Salta to explore a significant natural area in northern Argentina.

Tour Highlights

At the set time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Salta and head east towards the region of Anta, home to El Rey National Park.

Our visit will commence with a trek through the scenic yungas jungles, characterized by dense foliage. We will walk the trails of El Rey National Park, allowing us to observe the rich botanical diversity.

During our hike, we will identify various native plant species, including tipas, pacarás, pinos del cerro, tarcos, criollo walnut trees, and cedars situated within the different strata of the jungle, often covered by ferns and epiphytes.

We will also have the opportunity to observe the wildlife of El Rey National Park, potentially including collared peccaries, brown brocket deer, tapirs, river otters, or pumas. Following our exploration, we will enjoy a picnic lunch in nature, which includes a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a slice of cake, and two bottles of mineral water.

After lunch, we will return to Salta, with the estimated arrival at your hotel occurring 12 hours after pickup.
