On this excursion to El Rey National Park, we'll depart from Salta to visit a significant natural area in northern Argentina.
Tour Highlights
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Salta and head east towards the region of Anta, where El Rey National Park is located.
We will start by exploring the yungas jungles, characterized by lush foliage covering the landscape. The trails of El Rey National Park will offer opportunities to appreciate the area's botanical diversity.
Along these trails, we'll learn about various native plant species, observing trees such as tipas, pacarás, pinos del cerro, tarcos, criollo walnut trees, and cedars, along with ferns and epiphytes typical of the jungle ecosystem.
We will also have the chance to discover the wildlife of El Rey National Park, with potential sightings of animals including collared peccaries, brown brocket deer, tapirs, river otters, or pumas. Following the wildlife observation, a picnic lunch will be provided in nature, consisting of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a slice of cake, and two bottles of mineral water.
After lunch, we'll return to Salta, with an expected arrival at your hotel 12 hours after pickup.
